Sorg Bay West Federal Credit Union is committed to maintaining the security, integrity, and confidentiality of your personal financial information.  To assure the continued privacy of your personal financial information, the Sorg Bay West Federal Credit Union has established the following privacy practices and procedures:
 

Information We Collect:
We collect nonpublic information about you from the following sources:

• Information we receive from you on applications or other forms such as your name, address, social security number, assets and income.
• Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, or others such as your account balance, payment history, parties to transactions and credit card usage.
• Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency, such as your creditworthiness and credit history.   

Information We Disclose:
We may disclose all of the information we collect as described above to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other financial institutions with which we have joint marketing agreements so that we may provide our members with competitive products and services. We may also disclose information about you under other circumstances as permitted by law. These disclosures typically include information to process transactions on your behalf, conduct the operations of our Credit Union, follow your instructions as you authorize, or protect the security of our financial records.

In order to protect our member’s privacy, we only work with companies that agree to maintain strong confidentiality protections and limit the use of the information we provide.  We do not permit these companies to sell the information we provide to other third parties.

Our Security Measures:
We restrict access to nonpublic information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with Federal regulations to guard your nonpublic personal information.
