Chartered in 1951, our Credit Union began as the Sorg Employees Federal Credit Union . Through the years, our Credit Union served the employees of Sorg Paper Company and their families until the early 1990’s. At that time, our name changed to Sorg Bay West Federal Credit Union with the addition of the employees of Bay West Paper Company and their families. Finally, in 2000, after relocating to our new facility, we began to diversify and expand our field of membership with the addition of new employee groups in the Middletown area including Nurse’s Care Inc., Roush General Contracting and Middletown Post Office.
Today, we are a full service financial cooperative dedicated to providing our members the best quality service as well as low cost loans and a high return on savings products.
